Description

The Defense Information Systems Agency intends to acquire Microsoft Base Premier Support for GFY01 from Microsoft Corporation, 2118 Water Ridge Parkway, Charlotte, NC 28217, involving account management, proactive services, information services and technical support. This caliber of support is available only from Microsoft Corporation and not from third party vendors. See Note 22. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request for Quotation DCA100-01-T-4000 applies to this action. The RFQ and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-15. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial applies to this acquisition. The offeror shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, with its offer. The price proposal must be complete and accompanies by supporting materials, other than cost or pricing data, which substantiate the proposed price. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive orders Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. The DPAS rating for this acquisition is DO-S10. Offers are due to the Contracting Officer by 4:00 PM EDT 21 September 2000.
