Provide all labor, material and equipment necessary to perform dockside repairs including but not limited to the following Base Items: (1) Renew Bulkhead Foundations, (2) Renovate Potable Water Tank, (3) Clean and Inspect Sewage and Grey Water Collection and Holding Tank(s), (4) Renew Metal Decks, (5) Renew Bridge Deck and Window Frames, (6) Repair Gun Mount and Bridge Plating, (7) Renew Doors, Hatches and Scuttles, (8) Renew Port and Starboard Flywheel and Coupling, (9) Inspect and Preserve Antennas and Antenna Foundations, (10) Renew Engine Room Vent Ducting, (11) Overhaul Vaneaxial Fan/Motor Assemblies, (12) Renew MSD Valves, (13) Overhaul Magazine Sprinkler Valves, (14) Renew Deck Drains, (15) Install Reach Rods, (16) Renovate Forward Bilge Drainage System, (17) Renew JP-5 Piping,, (18) Inspect and Test Air Receivers, (19) Renew A/C Condensers, (20) Renew and Overhaul Fixed Windows, (21) Renew Deck Covering System, (22) Renovate Berthing Space, (23) Provide Temporary Berthing, (24) Provide Temporary Logistics, (25) Ultrasonic Testing _ 200 Shots, (26) GFP Report. Optional Items include but are not limited to the following: (1) Welding Repairs, (2) Preserve Sewage and Grey Water Collection and Holding Tank(s), (3) Wasted Metal Renewal, (4) Marinite Panel Renewal, (5) Ultrasonic Testing, (6) Provide Additional Temporary Logistics, (7) Composite Labor. The vessel is a 210 Foot _B_ Class Medium Endurance Cutter. Place of performance is restricted to the vessel_s homeport of St. Petersburg, FL. The performance period for this vessel is fifty-four (54) calendar days, beginning on or about 8 January 2001. Note: Funds are not presently available for this project. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. All referenced documents are available for viewing at 300 East Main Street, Suite 500, Norfolk, VA. A non-refundable charge of $150.00 may be required in the form of a certified check or money order made payable to the U.S. Coast Guard for requested drawings. Drawings are also available, free of charge, on CD-ROM. For more information about CD-ROM drawings, contact the Contracting Officials listed above. All businesses, large and small, are encouraged to submit bids for the subject requirements. Plans and specifications will be issued on or after 30 June 2000.
