- Description
- This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation in accordance with the commercial practices in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No.F19650-00-Q-0051 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) The requirement is for Video Monitoring System located in the Child Development Center. The requirement is for a Video Monitoring System located in the Child Development Center to include: 20 ea. 19inch monitors housed in an open cabinet to hold/hide all wires and cables. Each monitor must be labeled with the location it is showing. The "shelf"/"box" will be mounted on each side of the front desk at an approximate 10 foot level. There will be 10 monitors on each side of the desk. No wires/cables will be showing. The box will be painted the color of the building woodwork. There will be 2 to 4 cameras in each room, which will be hooked up to one monitor, and the pictures will rotate from camera to camera. Contractor will provide the monitors and installation so that the finished product will have a professional appearance. A site visit is required and will be conducted on 22 Sept at 1330 hour (1:30 PM). Work will consist of furnishing all plans, labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to perform all operations in connection with the installation. Work should begin on or about 29 September Clauses 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. (vi) 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items. The following factors will be used to evaluate offers: Professional specifications, past performance, price and price related factors and delivery schedule considered in descending order of importance as listed here. In addition, when all other factors are combined they are more important than price. The government will select a professionally superior offer if it is determined that the additional professional merit is worth the additional cost in relation to the other proposals received. Furthermore, the government may reject any or all offers if such action is in the public interest or waive informalities and minor irregularities in offers received. Professional capability will be determined from the information submitted by the Offeror providing a description in sufficient detail to show the product offered meets the government's requirements. 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-commercial Items. Offeror must be a Small Business. 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial items. All offerors must be Central Contractor Registered (CCR). Interested Parties may contact Ann M. Magnone, Director, Commander's Staff, has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during proposal development. You should only contact the Ombudsman with issues or problems you cannot satisfactorily resolve with the program manager and/or contracting officer. The Ombudsman role is to hear concerns, issues, and recommendations and communicate these to the appropriate government personnel. The Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality if desired.
