Description

The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) plans to issue a modification to Contract OSIA01-96-D-0008 extending the contract period of performance from 30 Sep 2000 to 30 Mar 2001. The contract extension will provide continued support while a follow-on competitive contract is being awarded. Under the extension to the contract, Group VIII Technology Incorporated will continue to provide critical Ground Truth Data Acquisition support to the DTRA Treaty on Open Skies Program. Based on Group VIII Technology's technical expertise and historical program support, DTRA believes that Group VIII Technology is the onlyl contractor capale of providing ongoing programmatic support functions and meeting complex technical requirements within time and budgetary constraints for this interim period. See Note 22. Any other firm desiring consideration must fully identify its capability to perform this requirement by submitting clear and convincing evidence of their capability in writing to the Contracting Officer.
