Description

Furnish all labor, parts, tools, materials, and transportation necessary to cut approximately 10 acres of grass at 100 Air Base Blvd. Services to be provided once each month for 7 months. Grass will be cut Oct 2000, and Apr-Sep 2001. Cutting period will be no less than 25 days between cutting from one month to the next. Grass will be cut to length of 5 inches or less. Cut area around fences and all obstructions within 6 inches. Area around railroad track will be cut to grave shoulders. Ditches and all fence lines will be cleaned by cutting or spraying herbicide. Cut up to the edge of all pavement. Cutting includes area outside of both ANG units to edge of public street. Contractor is not required to cut in and around antennas, towers, and mobile equipment belonging to the military unit. Contractor will request an inspection within two (2) working days of cutting by CMS Gary A. Johnson. Note 1: Person spraying herbicide must be certified by the state of Alabama to spray chemicals. Note 2: Contractor will cut low area in corner of Thompson Ave. and Air Base Blvd. Contractor will comply with all state, federal, and local environmental regulations and laws.
