Description

The Government intends to negotiate a sole source commercial purchase order with West Group Publishing, St Paul, MN for CD-ROM Subscription Services. CD-ROM Subscription services include 1. Alaska Digest, CD-ROM, 2. Georgia Offical Code, CD-ROM, 3. Government Contracts Library, CD-ROM, 4. Oklahoma Statues, CD-ROM, 5. Oklahoma Digest, CD-ROM, 6. UECA, CD-ROM, 7. UECA, CD-ROM, and 8. Military Justice Library, CD-ROM. Subscription services will consist of back CD-ROM issues dtd 1 Sep 00 through 31 Aug 01. Subscription services will be sent to various military legal library worldwide. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes by COB 4:00 PM on 22 Sep 00 to the Directorate of Contracting, ATTN: Terry Hyatt, 1830 Quartermaster Rd, Fort Lee, VA 23801-1606. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. See Note 22.
