Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented, with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, F26600-00-RZ004, is issued as a Request for Quotation, (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. This acquisition is set aside exclusively (100%) for small business concerns and will be awarded under small business set-aside procedures. The SIC code for this solicitation is 0782. FAR 19 classifies small businesses as those that gross equal to or less than $5 million annually based on the average of the offeror_s past three (3) fiscal years. The resultant awarded purchase order will contain one line item: 0001 Qty: 12 months. Offers should include the monthly and total prices for fiscal year 2001: 1 Oct 2000 to 30 Sep 2001. The item description is as follows: Non-personal service to provide all management, labor, tools, equipment, parts, labor and supervision necessary to perform ground maintenance and landscaping services in a manner that will maintain healthy, pest and disease free, grass trees, shrubs and plants and present a clean, neat and professional appearance and in accordance with the Statement of Work, (SOW). Work will be preformed at the Nellis AFB, NV Child Development Centers and Family Child Care. Buildings 600, 601 and 602 on Nellis AFB, NV. A Government representative appointed and identified after the resultant purchase order is awarded will perform inspection and acceptance. The following provisions apply to this solicitation: FAR 52.212-1: Instruction to Offerors-Commercial, Items (Aug 1998), FAR 52.212-3: Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (Feb 1999); offerors who fail to submit a completed Representations and Certifications may be considered non-responsive, FAR 52.214-13: Telegraphic Bids (Apr 1984), FAR 52.222-22: Previous Contracts and Compliance Reports (Feb 1999); offerors who fail to submit a completed copy of the provision may be considered non-responsive, and DFARS 252.204-7004: Required Central Contractor Registration (Mar 1998). For solicitations issued after 31 May 98, all contractors are required to be registered in the CCR database to receive a DOD award or payment.
