Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to enter into a firm-fixed price purchase order on a sole source basis with McCormick Selph, Inc. at 3501 Union Road, P.O. Box #6, Hollister, CA for the purchase, installation, and testing of delay actuators as follows: Item 0001-Six (6) 8-second delay actuators; Item 0002-Installation of two of the above mentioned actuators into GFE hardware; Item 0003-Data collected from the activation of these two devices and record the activation force to within 1 pound and the delay time to within 0.01 seconds, and the output force or pressure to within 0.1%data collected ; Item 0004 Activation of the remaining four actuators and recording of said activation within 0.1 lb., delay time to within0.01 seconds, and the output force or pressure to within 0.1%; Item0005 Contractor shall supply an interface control drawing of the actuators and a description of materials contained within the actuator; Item 0006 Contractor shall supply a report describing the results of Item 0003 and Item 0004; Item 0007 Acceptance shall be at the contractor's facility. This procurement is being issued under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures as a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation. The closing date is 21 September 2000. Anticipated award date of 28 September 2000. All items shall be price FOB DESTINATION, DAHLGREN, VA. Delivery shall be within 30 days after receipt of order. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren Laboratory Procurement Division has implemented Electronic Commerce (EC) in the acquisition area; therefore, this synopsis/solicitation, with any applicable amendments will be available on the World Wide Web at http://www.nswc.navy.mil/supply. ALL ITEMS HAVE BEEN IDENTIFIED IN THIS SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION. HARD COPY WILL NOT BE PROVIDED. Vendors should regularly access the NSWCDD Web Site to ensure that they have downloaded all amendments.
