- Description
- This solicitation is for the procurement of part numbered items manufactured by General Electric Co., Lewis and Saunders Inc., Crossroads Tool and Mfg. Co., Tube Bends Inc., Tube Processing Corp., and others. This solicitation is formatted per FAR Part 15 (Negotiations). All NSNs are available for download under the "Acquisition Downloads" menu item on the DSCC Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) under subject heading "DSCC Corporate contract solicitations". Access is directly available by accessing http://dibbs.dsccols.com. Offerors should be aware that there is a potential for split awards. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestricted technical data; but there is available the top drawings for this acquisition to approved sources. For information on these top drawings please call Nancy J. Gordon 614-692-1333 or Fax 614-693-1678. Offerors must submit a signed copy of the basic solicitation. FSC to be covered under this project are : 4710, 4730. CBD Note(s): 1,12,26 apply(ies). Small Business size standard is 500 employees. Solicitation not available until 15 days after published in the CBD. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the Government. The total extension shall not exceed 4 years. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestricted technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1). This proposed procurement includes a family group of items within Federal Supply Class(es). While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award may be based upon a combination of price, proposed delivery and past performance as described in this solicitation. Refer to section "M". All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation as applicable, which if timely received will be considered by the agency.
