Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION. A quotation is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F34612-00-QQ167 is hereby issued as a Request for Quotation. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for Small Business and is under Standard Industrial Classification code 5599, with a small business size standard of $5,000,000. Funds are not currently available for this requirement; however request for funding is included in the FY00 End of Year Spend Plan. Award is contingent upon funds becoming available on or before 30 Sep 00. This requirement is for 2 separate trailers as listed below: Trailer #1: C-5 Crash Recovery Trailer: Enclosed trailer, 26 feet long, 8 feet wide, 7 feet interior minimum height; 5/8 inch plywood interior walls; 2 and 5/16 inch bull dog coupler; tandem axle, 4 wheel electric brakes; 8,000 lb payload capacity, spare tire with mounting bracket (front); ramp style rear door; 2 side doors with cam locks (48 x 48 inch at front, 30 X 84 inch at back of trailer, both located on same side of trailer); 80 12 inch wide aluminum ramp door extension; adjustable pintle hook tow option; stone guard 24 inch wrap around; 10 each 500 lb ring tie downs; 50 amp electrical service panel; 1 each on-board (installed internal with outside access) 5 kw generator with manual transfer switch; 1 each 11,000 BTU, 120 volt air conditioner; 5 each 15 amp power supply (1 front, 2 each side); 4 each 8 feet double florescent lamp fixtures; 2 each 12 volt exterior flood lights, one at front and one at rear of trailer box; 5 each 120 volt wall receptacles, 48 inch off of floor; wall switches for exterior flood lights, dome lights, 8 ft florescent lights and wall receptacles; cable hatch to reshore line; 8,000 lb drop leg jack. Trailer #2: C-5 Crash Recovery Bag/Blower Trailer: Trailer Model #CW162-102; 16 Ft long, 7 Ft wide and 7 Ft interior minimum height; 3/8 inch plywood interior walls; rear ramp door; tandem axle; A-Frame stand type spare tire carrier with white cover; two each dome lights with optic lens; 3 way wall switch; 12 each 500 lb tie downs (6 on each side, 24 inch apart.) 4 wheel electric brakes; adjustable pintle hook tow option. It is amended to read: Submit signed and dated offer to 97 CONS/LGCA, 205 s 6TH St Bldg 318, Altus AFB OK 73523-5147 at or before 1630 (4:30) CST 25 Sep 00. Submit signed and dated quotations on company letterhead or quotation form. Quotations may be faxed to 580-481-7472. Offers on this acquisition shall be evaluated on the basis of price factors only. The government reserves the right to make award without discussions. FAR clause 52.212-4 (May 1999), Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition with the following addendum: DFARS 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration (Mar 2000). The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (Jul 2000) applies to this acquisition and is incorporated by reference.
