Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A quote is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F1DEU102590100 is hereby issued as a Request for Quote. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. This is a full and open acquisition. MOBILE COMMAND POST (MCP) Description 1 ea. The contractor shall provide a mechanically sound 37-foot, class A motorhome. The motorhome must have been manufactured from year 1990 through year 2000. The original mileage must not exceed 35,000 miles. The power train must be mechanically sound, and must be the original manufacturer specifications, and must be fully compatible to meet or exceed the motorhome requirements. A certified mechanic, not affiliated with the seller must certify the power train. The motorhome must be equipped with one each 14 foot power slide-out living room. The motorhome must be equipped with the following: tilt wheel, cruise control, power mirrors, and auxiliary battery. The motorhome must be outfitted with the equipment listed in the following categories: Generator 7-8 KW gas. Air Conditioning & Heating two each 13,500 BTU units non-central/ducted. Audio-Visual one each AM/FM cassette stereo installed in the dash, television 19_ color installed inside front overhead above dash, television antenna with booster, rear vision camera with monitor. Jacks and Leveling System hydraulic leveling system (automatic). Appliances microwave and 8-10.0 cu. ft. refrigerator installed, water purifier with dispenser installed. Interior cabinetry throughout both overhead and below must be designed for motorhome use, and doors/drawers that remain secure when motorhome is moving at normal highway operating speeds. Restroom must have a commode, vanity, and shower. The motorhome must be equipped with all internal original specification interior lighting throughout, and the required switches. Exterior the motorhome exterior surface must be constructed and painted as per the original manufacturer specifications. The exterior surface paint must be original and aesthetically appealing to the eye. All the exterior doors, windows, seals, lights, must be operating as per original manufacturer specifications. The exterior surface must be free of dents, cracks, tears, etc. It must include one each attached awning 17_-19_, electric step (double), spare tire and carrier, and trailer hitch. Motorhome must come with a two-year warranty (minimum) Note: Contractor must provide photographs of motorhome. It is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition. It is amended to read: Submit a quotation to 37 CONS/LGCBD, 1655 Selfridge Bldg. 5450, Lackland AFB, TX 78236. at or before 1200 Noon CST, 22 Sep 00. Submit signed and dated quotations on company letter head or quotation form. Quotations may be e-mailed or faxed. Offers on this acquisition shall be evaluated on the basis of price factors and best value determination. The government reserves the right to make award on the initial quote without discussions. Each offeror shall include a completed copy of the provisions at FAR clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (FEB 2000) with the quotation. If a copy of the provisions are needed, please request and a copy will be provided. FAR clause 52.212-4 (May 1999), Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition with the following addendum: DFARS 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration (Mar 1998). The clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (Feb 2000) applies to this acquisition and is incorporated by reference.
