Description
Invitation for Bids Notice is hereby given that the Madison County Transit District (DISTRICT) will be receiving bids until 12:00 noon, Friday December 1, 2000 for the purchase of spare parts, components, and assemblies for DISTRICT fleet of New Flyer model D40LF vehicles. All proposal forms and specifications are on file in the DISTRICT administrative office and are available for inspection during normal business hours. Specifications, forms, and the terms and conditions for bidding may be obtained from Ms. LaVetta Berry, DISTRICT administrative office, (618) 874-7433. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for Wednesday September 27, 2000 at 10:00 AM, CDT, at the address below. The right is reserved to accept any bid or any part or parts thereof or to reject any and all bids. Acceptance of any bid is subject to concurrence by the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) and the United States Department of Transportation (DOT). Any contract resulting from these bids is subject to financial assistance contracts between the DISTRICT and the United States Department of Transportation (DOT), and the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT).
