Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number F41636-00-T-C158 is issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions are those in effect through federal Acquisition Circular 97-15. This is a 100% small business set-aside. The SIC code is 5088. The size standard is 100 employees. The contractor shall provide the following BRAND NAME ONLY Items (0001), 1 each, SNAP-ON-TOOL, Emissions Analyzer System, Part number EEEA110A. Also included are nine (9) additional accessories. Delivery shall be 1 week ARO and FOB Destination to Lackland AFB, TX. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, "Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items", is applicable to this acquisition. The provision FAR 52.212-2 "Evaluation -- Commercial Items" is applicable to this solicitation and the blanks in section (a) are completed as follows: Price considerations. Quoters shall include with their quotes, a completed copy of 52.212-3, "offeror Representations and Certification -- Commercial Items". FAR 52.212-4, "Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, 52.212-5, "Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercials Items, 52.232-33, "Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer -- Central Contractor Registration", and DFARS 252.204-7004, "Required Central Contractor Registration", are applicable to this acquisition. Responses to this RFQ must be received via fax or mail by 22 Sep 2000 no later than 3:00 PM Central Standard Time at the 37th Contracting Squadron, 1655 Selfridge Ave., Lackland AFB TX 78236-5253. Quotes should be marked with the solicitation number. Vendors not registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award will be ineligible for award. The Government will consider any proposals received within 5 days after date of publication of this synopsis. No solicitation or request for quote is available.
