Description

This is a commercial item acquisition, issued as a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotations are requested, a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. RFQ 786-90-00, is dated September 15, 2000, and issued as a request for quotations. The provisions and clauses contained in this solicitation are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Circular 97-19. This solicitation is issued using full and open competition, and is a total (100%) small business set-aside. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code 3531 and a size standard of 750 employees is applicable. Quotations are requested from all eligible small business concerns. List of Contract Line Item Numbers (CLIN) is as follows: CLIN 001 -- quantity one (1) each, Five-Ton Thwaites dumper, Brand Name or equal. Equals shall have the following salient characteristics: 4-wd, 180-degree powerswivel dumper, 4-cylinder Perkins 1000 series, 76 horsepower engine 4-speed powershuttle transmission; and CLIN 002 quantity one (1) each, set of four 12.5/80X18 track tires with tubes and rims. All CLINS are to be delivered, f.o.b. destination, within consignee's premises, to Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd., Denver, CO 80235. This contract will serve as the contractual vehicle for the dump vehicle and tires.
