Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number, N00259-00-T- 0125 is issued as a request for quotations(RFQ). An Award will be made based on price and availability. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 97-19. Item 0001: AMX-4 +MOBILE RADIOGRAPHIC SYSTEM, MFR: GE MEDICAL SYSTEMS, CAT NUMBER: S2000MG, DESC: 110 volt, 50/60 HZ, UL/CSA recognized. Battery operated, self contained auto mobile X-ray unit with Battery pack, includes the following: -Microprocessor controlled Central processing unit, High tension Transformer with medium frequency inverter, Battery charging module- does not require unit to be constantly plugged in to maintain a charge also produces up to 50 exposures on a single charge. 3 inch (75mm) rotating anode tube with 0.8mm focal spot, high voltage cables, two Point (KVP, MAS) technique control with vacuum Fluorescent displays, simple handle variable speed, dual motor drive system. top speed 3mph, one touch electro-mechanical lock control,compact manual collimator on counterbalanced tube assembly and +/- 270 degrees column rotation low x-ray tube transport position (see over height 0f 51 inches), compact system enclosure with clean control panel, cassette storage: cassette drawer with divider tab keeps up to ten 14 x 17" films on hand. size: no larger than L4'x w2', 9" x h3', 10", Power requirements: maintenance free battery that provides greater or equal to 20,000 MAS storage.
