This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number 2000-Q-00207 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. This is a 100 percent small business set aside. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 3861. The small business size standard is 750 employees. (Two Each) Lacie 21" High Resolution SVGA Monitors, Model No: 22B, Part No: 04009, (Three each) Kingston 256 MB Ram (EDO, SDRAM) Part No: CTM1133/127; (One) Altec 101 Self-Powered Speakers w/Sum-Woofer, Part No: ACS45B; (One) Medea Corp. VR4/300RT Medea Storage 300 GB, Part No: VR4/300RT; and (one) Pinnacle Madras Universal Analog Interface, Part No: 160812271. System must have applicable warranties. It is our intention to award a firm fixed price purchase order to: Niche Video Products, Incorporated, 1339 Canton Road, NE, Atlanta, Georgia 30066, however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotations within ten days of this publication. Delivery shall be to 4998-C South Royal Atlanta Drive, Tucker, GA 30084. FOB Destination. Mark for installation at CDC/PHPPO/Lindhoff, Clifton Building 3, Room SB-29. Delivery is required within 30 days after issuance of a purchase order. Manufacturer's warranty shall apply. The provision at FAR 52.212-1 applies to this acquisition (with addendum incorporating FAR 52.204-6, Contractor Identification Number Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) Number; FAR 52.214-34, Submission of Offers in the English Language, FAR 52.214-35, and Submission of Offers in U.S. Currency and FAR 52.215-20). Purchase order will be awarded to the firm offering the above listed items at the lowest overall cost to the government.
