Description

This is an amendment to the solicitation which was initially posted on CBDnet September 13, 2000 and printed on September 15, 2000. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F41614-00-T0176, and is issued as a request for quote. Response to this solicitation is due 22 Sep 00, 1400 CST, Award is expected no later than 30 Sep 00. Solicitation provisions are those in effect for Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. The following solicitation provisions are incorporated by reference: 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items (MAR 2000), 52.212-2 Evaluation Commercial Items (Jan 1999), (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement, price, and delivery, 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items.
