Note 22 -- Sole Source Source: Ivan Allen of Macon, 112 West Macon Park Drive, Macon GA 31210-6812 THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION, A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. PROPOSALS ARE DUE NOT LATER THAN 6 DAYS AFTER THE DATE OF THIS NOTICE. Provide labor, tools, parts, materials, facilities, and transportation to re-design and relocate Steelcase systems furniture for the Directorate of SC, PAVE PAWS, Bldg 210, 1st Floor, West, Robins AFB GA to include upgrade of circuits and panel boxes as required for Steelcase furniture installation in Bldg 10241 and PAVE PAWS. Re-design services will consist of inventory of existing Steelcase components and new floor plan to re-use existing parts. New floor plan shall be computer generated, scaled to 1/8"=1' or 1/4"=1'. THE ELECTRICAL UPGRADE SCOPE OF WORK IS AS FOLLOWS: PAVE PAWS 1. SPA-Remove old circuits from reusable conduit; remove old junction boxes located above the floor; reuse conduit where possible, install new conduit where necessary under the raised floor, use existing electrical panels to provide circuitry for power whips. 2. PLATFORM 1A-Remove existing 60 amp panel and replace with 150 amp panel, using existing conduit from SPA area, with appropriately sized wire and breaker; run circuits for power poles from this panel above the suspended ceiling. 3. 1st FLOOR-Remove existing disconnect switch, and replace it with new six-space panel; run circuits from this panel under the floor to the power whips. 4. 2nd FLOOR-Install new 150 amp panel, fed from SPA area through new conduit (this will require core-drilling a hole in the floor for the new conduit run); run circuits for power poles from this panel above the suspended ceiling. 5. 4th FLOOR-Run new circuits for power poles above the suspended ceiling, using the existing panel for power. BLDG 10241 6. Run a small section of conduit from the top of each panel to a junction box above the ceiling; use flexible conduit (cable) to feed power poles from these junction boxes.
