Description
This is a combined synopsis-/-solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice, however, A copy of the SF1449 can be down loaded from the NECO Site at http://www.neco.navy.mil. The solicitation number for this Request for Quotation is N00244-00-T-1497. This solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. This solicitation is issued on a unrestricted basis. FISC San Diego has a requirement for the following: Maintenance/Repairs of Government owned equipment (1) Sweeper Model 830-3613. (2) Sweeper Model 830-3835. (3) Sweeper Model 830-3721. (4) Scrubber Model 550-6184. Statement of Work. Contractor is to provide full service that covers all maintenance listed in the TENNAT Service Manual 830-1 1 but are not limited to, planned check-ups to major repairs, as well as installation of wear items such as tires, squeegees, skirts, and brushes. It is the contractors responsibility to establish and coordinate with the government's point of contact, for the preventive maintenance inspection visit. Quarterly preventive maintenance plus as needed repairs is expected. Contractor must have the full knowledge of the TENNANT Model 830-II sweeper and scrubber Mode] 550. Contractor must be able to perform all work in compliance with manufacturers specifications and in accordance with the statement of work. The contractor shall provide al test equipment (including all tools, diagnostic and alignment devices, meters, etc.) diagnostic software, maintenance schedules. Supplies and services. Systems consist of the following: Engine-Perkins, piston, diesel Steering-Front and rear wheels, hydraulic cylinder, steering rod, and rotary valve controlled. Hydraulic System- Hydraulic reservoir (18 Gal), Hydraulic total (32Gal) Braking System-Service Brakes-Universal tractor (mobil424) Hydraulic activated wet multi-disc on all four wheels. Parking Brake-Spring activated wet multi-disc on front axle. Tires- Front and rear-Bias Ply Pneumatic, 7 X 12 in, ply rating-12 Equipment Location: 2 sweepers/ 1 scrubber located Naval Station San Diego. I sweeper located Naval Station North Island. Replacement Parts are authorized, only if they meet the original equipment manufacturers standards and are of "Equivalent Quality". In the event the contractor cannot determine the extent of the repair needed. The contractor is authorized to take the equipment off-site to be repaired. The equipment shall be repaired and returned within five (5) working days. If parts or material cannot be completed within the authorized time frame, then it shall be the responsibility of the contractor to notify the government point of contact to determine a new delivery date. Billing to be quarterly in arrears Acceptance shall be at destination. The following provision apply FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items, Addendum to FAR 52.000-1, Paragraph (b) (5) Offers shall provide an express warranty which at a minimum shall be the same warranty terms, including offers of extended warranties, offered to the general public. Express warranties shall be included in the contract. Provision 52.212-2 Evaluation Commercial Items applies with paragraph (a) completed as follows: Award will be made to the Offeror that meets the solicitation's minimum criteria for technical acceptability at the lowest price. To be determined technically acceptable the Offeror must furnish product literature that demonstrates the products offered meet all requirements stated in the above purchase descriptions for Line Items 0001. All responsible Offerors are to submit current pricing, delivery time, payment terms, cage code, Dunn and Bradstreet number, Tax Identification Number and all applicable specifications regarding this solicitation. Also required are copies of applicable commercially published price lists pertaining to your company's products that meet the specifications.
