Description

This is a combined SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for Commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This solicitation Number N00140-00-Q-JS04 is issued as a request for proposal (RFP). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FEDERAL ACQUISITION CIRCULAR #90-42, and DEFENSE FEDERAL ACQUISITION CIRCULAR #91-11. (iv) This solicitation is a small business set-aside. Full service one year maintenance on Xerox model 4135 to include: 3x7 coverage-365 days a year/Online Module/Offline Module/Diagnostic Software License -- Qty 2 each. Copy charges with estimated usage of 800,000 for one machine and 850,000 for the other. Recommendations: 1. Denver based office that can respond with in 1 hour. 2. Local parts warehouse within 1 hour drive that stocks the nost commonly used parts. 3. experienced on Xerox 4135 repair. 4. Must provide 3 local references. (vi) FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to offerors, Commercial-, is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition. (vii) FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation, Commercial Items (Oct 1995) is incorporated by reference and applied to this acquisition. The resulting contract will be a firm, fixed price (FFP).
