Description

The 30th Space Wing, Vandenberg AFB, CA intends to solicit and negotiate with Military Aircraft Restorations, Corp. on a sole source basis, under the authority of FAR 6.302, for the purchase of a full-scale fiberglass replica of a P-40 aircraft. Aircraft is to be authentic in detail, painted and marked as directed by the Government, and mounted on a pole for display purposes. Transportation and mounting is included. This is not a request for competitive proposals, and no solicitation is available. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. The Government will take into consideration any responses received within 5 days from the date of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement.
