- Description
- The U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command proposes to acquire on an other than full and open competitive basis operator training at Ft. Hood, TX in support of the Apache Longbow Program. Effort is to secure operational and situation awareness of the FCR and its interface with the Radio Frequency Interferometer (RFI), Longbow Hellfire Modular Missile System (LBHMMS) and Target Acquisition Designation Sight (TADS). Contract shall provide all text material and training manuals in contractor format IAW DI-MISC-80508. The Government intends to utilize a Firm Fixed Price award of a delivery order to Contract DAAH23-99-G-0012 to sole source contractor. This is a sole source requirement to Longbow Limited Liability Company, Commercial and Government Entity, 578 South Semoran Blvd., Orlando; FL. Only LBLLC possesses the technical expertise and experience necessary to execute this FCR/RFI training. Under the authority and Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), only one source or a limited number of responsible sources are able to satisfy agency requirements. No solicitation will be issued. Interested parties should identify themselves in writing to the Contracting Officer. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by this agency.
