Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format described in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), F19650-00-T-0029. This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 97-19 dated July 26, 2000. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 3069 and the small business size standard is 500. The procurement is to consists of the following: CLIN 0001, 1 each, furnish and install approximately 5030 square feet, 3/8'' thick, Robins Sports Surface Pulastic FA 7+3, high performance urethane system at the Hanscom AFB Youth Center. Equal or better multi-purpose, shock absorbent surfacing submittals will be considered by the Contracting Officer. Floor shall include game lines as follows: 1-full court basketball lines, 2-half court basketball lines, and volleyball lines. Each type set of game lines should be a different color. Primary use of floor will be roller-blading, basketball, volleyball, and floor hockey. A site visit will be held at the Hanscom AFB Youth Center, building 1993 on 21SEP00 at 10:30 AM. Delivery to Hanscom AFB, MA is required within 90 calendar days after contract award. FOB Point: Destination.
