DESC: 1240-00-148-7557 and 1240-00-348-8442, Part Number 11744900 and 11727450, The item to procure is a Periscope Subassembly; assembly of manufactured parts, aluminum castings, lenses, prisms and numerous screws, washers packing and sub assemblies, etc. Major components consist of 1 eccentric; 1 housing; 1 lever; 1 valve stem; 1 valve core; 4 filter assemblies; 2 plungers; 1 shaft; 1 stud; 1 block; 1 plate; 4 cell assembly numerous lens; 1 sleeve; 1 prism see parts list 117449000 for actual P/N #. The second items is Periscope Tank; assembly of major components Elbow assembly P/N 11733401; plate identification P/N 11727438, head assy p/n 11727485; body assy p/n 11744900. Sub assemblies consist of aluminum castings, lenses, prisms, electrical components and numerous purchase parts, screws, washers, packing, seals, etc. Requirements are 41 each Periscope Subassembly and 19 each Periscope Tank. FOB is destination. For use on the M60 Tank. Estimated issue date is 03 Oct 2000. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c) therefore hardcopies will not be provided.
