Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number, N00259-00-T-0128 is issued as a request for quotations (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 97-19. This is a request for one (1) each of a Vacuum Infiltration Tissue Processor (Tissue-Tek VIP E300 Freestanding Floor Model), Mfg/PN: Sakura Finetek 4896, to include the following specifications: Capacity: 300 cassettes; Solution volume requirements: 3.2L; Memory: 9 programs with individual self-calculating delay modes; Interfaces: External alarm connections, printer interface, keyboard with 10 numeric keys and 11 functions, self-diagnostic function; Retort Temp Ranges: Station 1 to 10: 35C to 50C; Station 11 to 14: 45C to 70C; Oven Temperature: Oven remains 2 C above set temperature of stations 11 to 14; Dimensions: 50.0cm (20 in) x 58.0cm (23 in) x 134.0cm (53 in); Weight: 131kg (289 lb); Electrical: 115 VAC @ 10.5A, 60Hz.
