Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Louisville, KY intends to contract for the purchase of brand name or equal for, the complete Bactec MGIT 960 System using smplified acquisition procedures, FAR 13.5. The system shall be based on oxygen consumption by bacteria; continuous fluorometric detection system, support 950 tests at one time; all support vials and tubes are plastic; needleless system and system must have a manual backup system capability. Solicitation documents will be available on or about September 22, 2000. Proposals are due October 5, 2000, COB. Request for proposals must be in writing and may be faxed to 502/894-6115. (Requests are NOT available through the internet/e-mail.) All responsible/responsive offers may submit a proposal which will be considered by the agency.
