Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition (FAR), Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This requirement is for Nortel Networks Hardware Maintenance with a Coverage Period of 10/01/00 through 9/30/01. The hardware is located at four different sites, NAVICP Mech., NAVICP Phila., FMSO/NAVSUP, Mech., and NALC., Mech. This maintenance must be performed by Nortel Networks Certified technicians that have knowledge of the equipment. Copies of certifications shall be provided with submission of your RFQ. Please include in your quote the Terms and Conditions that are applicable to maintenance. Solicitation Number N00104-01-Q-Q011 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) in accordance with FAR Part 13. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed price basis and to solicit and negotiate the proposed contract on a competitive basis. All items must be Year 2000 compliant in accordance with FAR Clause 39.002 is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition. The provisions at DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration (MAR 1988) is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition. This notice of intent is to request competitive proposals.
