Description

Synopsis/solicitation: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial service prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included with this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, FA2550-00-Q-0445 is issued as a Sole Source Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. The Standard Industrial Classification Number is 5045 and the Business Size Standard is 100. The proposed system that is being procured is two (2) each Compaq XL900 Personal Workstations (Open VMS _ Special Keyboard and Graphics Card comes with system) complete w 128MB Memory, 9GB Hard Drives, and 21_ monitors. The workstations will be configured at the contractor_s facility with MISER software, tested at the contractor_s facility, and delivered and installed at Schriever AFB, CO by the said contractor. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors _Commercial Items, applies (vii) with the following evaluation factors: past performance and price evaluation factors are weighted equally, and price must be considered fair and reasonable. Offerors must include with their offer a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications _ Commercial Items. The clauses at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions _ Commercial Items, and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders _ Commercial Items, 52.232.33, 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer _ Central Contractor Registration, and DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration, are applicable to this acquisition.
