Description

The General Services Administration intends to award a definite quantity commercial item contract. The term of this proposed contract is for 6 months, with the option to extend the service for five (5) additional 6-month periods, total duration of the contract is not to exceed 3 years. The estimated value of the procurement is $250,000-$500,000. This service has been previously provided by Cox Communications, Norfolk, VA. The contract description is to provide an ATM circuit between Ft. Monroe and JWFC (Joint Warfare Fighting Center), VA. and Cox (or internet provider) internet with T-1/DS-1 transport service. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-19. The procurement is being conducted under FAR Part 12, Commercial Item contract. The procurement provides for full and open competition, and is therefore not set aside. All responses to be received not later than 3:00 p.m., Central Time, September 25, 2000. All responsive, responsible offers will be considered by the agency. Proposals will only be accepted via fax at 816-823-3322.
