Description
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to purchase a Projection and Sound System with Control System/Equipment Closets which meets the specifications listed below from Southern Business Communications Group. CDC believes that its requirements are met by this provider, however all responsible sources that can meet the requirements listed herein may submit a quote which will be considered by the agency. Description of the requirements: One large conference room which can be subdivided into three rooms. Each individual room will have a ceiling mounted projector which can display computer data or video; a rack mounted vcr and amplifier in the equipment closet in the back of the room (each side room will have wall mounted racks, the center equipment room will have a floor rack); individual sound control for six (6) speakers in room. When the conference room is used as a whole, the room will have the following capabilities: the same image displayed on all three screens; a multi-media lectern for housing and securing a computer and other electronic equipment which may include a document camera; a microphone system; a switcher in the equipment closet which will allow any input to be put to any output device as well as video/audio to other conference rooms; a Crestron control system with touch panel for user friendly control of any of the equipment in the room (which can be installed in the multi-media lectern). Equipment to be operated by the control system will be: screens, projectors, vcrs, and speakers (volume). Creston E-Control for remote LAN computer management of projectors and other electronics controlled by the Crestron control system. Miscellaneous equipment includes: a cart mounted with 27" monitor with built-in VCR; three (3) overhead projectors; three (3) 35mm slide projectors; three (3) document cameras for display of hardcopy of 3D objects; three (3) flip charts/stands with supply of replacement flip chart pads. Installation, engineering and design services. Detailed description of equipment specifications are: PROJECTION SYSTEM: three (3) Infocus LP 770 XGA, LCD Projector, 2000 lumens; Plenum cables for VGA, video, sound and signal amplifiers; three (3) Projector mounts #RPA-030; SOUND SYSTEM: eighteen (18) KSI flush mounted ceiling speakers #8081-CS, eighteen (18) KSI 70 volt transformer #T-70-8; one (1) TOA wireless microphone Scout #WS-SL-1; six (6) TOA Aux RCA input module #U-01R; three (3) TOA A-912MK2 Integrated Amp; three (3) Atlas Soundoiler AT-10 volume Control; one (1) TOA Rack mounts kit for 900 series #AMP-MB-25B. EQUIPMENT CLOSETS: one (1) Atlas Soundoiler Wall racks for side rooms #320-12B; one (1) Atlas Soundoiler Floor rack for central room #5061-19-25; misc. Rack top panel, side panels, doors and shelves; two (2) Sony PVM 8040 8" monitors for preview/monitoring; one (1) Extron 84 HVA Matrix Switcher ( to direct any input to any output). CART/MONITOR/VCR PORTALBE CART: one (1) Da-Lite PM5UL-49J cart; one (1) Phillips 25" color TV/VCR como #CCZ252AT. CONTROL SYSTEM: one (1) Crestron Control system #ST-PAKX-C with E-control and RF Color touch panel. Unit will control projectors, VCR, sound system, document camera, slide projectors. Unit will support remote monitoring of equipment status from a network computer. Installation includes necessary interface cables, network adapter cards, user license, sensors, programming of control system and E-control programming. INSTALLATION, ENGINEERING, DESIGN SERVICES: one (1) custom cables, connectors and hardware; installation, programming, and engineering design services; training and documentation. MISC. AUDIO-VISUAL EQUIPMENT: three (3) Luxor open AV carts #LE34; three (3) Black twill drapes for Luxor carts #D34; three (3) Panasonic AG-1330 VCR; three (3) 3M overhead projector Model 9085 #78-9236-6292-4; three (3) Kodak 35 mm slide projector with 100-150mm lens, #147-5375, includes wireless remote control; three (3) Elmo EV-700 AF Visual Presenter with 3CCD camera. 12X powered zoom, lens with auto focus function; three (3) Da-lite Flip chart stands #43128;three (3) Da-lite Flip Chart pads #43303. CONFERENCING ROOM SWITCHING SYSTEM: one (1) Extron MAV1616 16 x 16 audio visual matrix switcher. Up to 16 inputs can be switched to up to 16 outputs, Extron #60-240-01; one (1) Atlas Soundoiler sectional wall cabinet with door, 19"w X 12"h X 12"d; #300-17B; one (1) Executive Style Lectern by KSI, approximately 40"w X 32"d X 48"h, sliced wood of choice veneer with standard satin lacquer finish, flat work surface, black charcoal matrix laminate, pull-out side drawer with locks for document camera, pocket doors with locks, pull-out keyboard/mouse shelf, removable front access panel, 18" gooseneck high intensity dimmable halogen light, two (2) adjustable shelves, ventilation fan, 3.5" recessed swivel casters. This is a all or none requirement.
