Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 00T0291 is issued as a Request for Quotation and incorporates provisions and clauses in efect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-14. SIC Code for this solicitation is 3537 with a size standard of 750 employees. The following item is required: CLIN 0001 -- Container, Shipping, air cargo, metal/fiber-glass construction, 6 door, Size: 108" x 88" x 70", Usable cubic feet: 295, Pay load: 10,000 lbs, Tare weight: 1500 lbs, color: green, item must be approved for use on C-130 and KC-135 aircraft and allow for loading in all pallet positions. 4 way forkliftable internal airlift/helicopter slingable. 3 each. Mfr & PN: AAR Cadillac 56188-000. Manufacturer and Part Number are for reference. The containers will be utilized by the Utah Air National Guard to store and ship cargo on C-130 and KC-135 aircraft. Delivery/acceptance is FOB Destination UTANG Base, Salt Lake City, Utah 84116. Delivery time shall be 90 days after receipt of order. Applicable FAR provisions and clauses are 52.212-1, 52.212-2, 52.212-3, 52.212-4, 52.212-5. The following evaluation criteria shall be used as addenda to FAR 52.212-2(a): 1) technical capability of the item offered to meet the needs of the Government, 2) Price, 3) Past performance. The government reserves the right to award on the best value basis. All offers must include specifications of the iem quoted and completed copy of FAR 52.212-3. All offerors must be registered in CCR to be eligible for award. Offerors should include with their quotation: GSA number if applicable, DUNN and Bradstreet Number, Cage Code, Tax Identification Number and location of item manufacture.
