Description

The U.S.Coast Guard Maintenance and Logistics Command Pacific intents to contract for a contractor to provide all labor and materials to upgrade the existing reverse osmosis desalinator. The upgrade shall be in accordance with the specifications. All work to be performed onboard CGC POLAR SEA, pierside, Seattle, WA. Period of performance is from 9/21/00 through 9/27/00. The proposal issue date is 9/18/00 with a due date of 9/21/00. For Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises, the Department of Transportation (DOT) Minority, Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization has programs to assist minority, women-owned and disadvantaged enterprises to acuiare short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available Under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at the prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
