- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items/services prepared in accordance with format in subparts 12.6 and 13.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation to be issued, proposals are being requested from this announcement, a written solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Proposal number is 575-530-01. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 97-19. Standard Industrial Code (SIC) 3844 is applied. This solicitation is issued subject to the availability of government funds at the time of award. This solicitation is unrestricted for the following services: Contractor shall provide full maintenance services and glass coverage for one (1) Computed Tomography Scanner, Toshiba XVision Model TSX-002A, S/N a7562259. The following provisions and clauses are applicable and are hereby incorporated into the solicitation by reference and will be provided by the contracting officer in full text upon request: FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors Commercial Item, FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items and FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions REquired to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items applies. Offerors are required to complete and include a copy of the following provisions with their proposals: FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, FAR 52.219-22 Small Disadvantaged Business Status and VAAR 852.219-70 Veteran-Owned Small Business. Award will be made to that offeror (1) whose proposal is technically acceptable and (2) whose technical/cost relationship is acceptable and (is most advantageous to the Government). While cost is secondary to technical, it will be a factor in the award decision. Also, award may not necessarily be made for technical capabilities that would appear to exceed those needed for successful performance of the work.
