Description

Naval Surface Warfare Center,Carderock Division,Philadelphia,PA requires the services of a rigging company to install a 98-pound steam condenser in a test cell. The condenser currently resides (inside building 87)on a Navy owned flatbed trailer approximately 200 feet from its final resting position. Overall dimensions of the condenser are 31'L X 8'W X 15'H. Rigging will be complicated by restricted doorways and limited overhead. Installation in the test cell will require rotation and placement of the condenser on 10-foot high stanchions. Stanchions will be provided by the Navy and will require final placement and grouting by the contractor. Estimated weight of the stanchions is 25,000 pounds. Estimated replacement value of the condenser is $5,000,000.00. Site inspection is available at the Nava Business Center, Philadelphia, Pa.
