Description

This is a Pre-solicitation notice for commercial items. This announcement constitutes the Pre-solicitation only. A written solicitation will be available on this web-site on or about 18 Sep 00. This is a sole source procurement reserved for Herman Miller distributors to prevent voiding warranty of equipment. The solicitation document, which will be available on this web-site, will incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 97-10. SIC 7389. Non Personal Services to provide the following: Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, labor, and materials to move existing Herman Miller Products and accessories from Medina Annex, Bldg 223 to new CE bldg addition. Service also includes disassembling and reassembling partions, workstations, disconnection and reconnection of data communication equipment, all of which is to be set up in specific layout for turnkey operation in accordance with attached Statement of Work. In accordance with FAR part 52.237-1, offerors are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work is to be performed. Access to the site will be limited to an organized site visit. Contractor must quote on all items listed. FOB: Destination for delivery is Lackland AFB, TX. All interested parties must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as prescribed in DFARS 252.204-7004 & 252.232-7009. CCR can be obtained by accessing the Internet or by calling 1-888-227-2423. The CCR number must be obtained before award can be made. Once contractors have received full solicitation package, submit written offers via fax (oral offers will not be considered), to SSgt Quina Garrett. The tentative due date for all quotes will be 22 Sep 00 by 2:00pm.
