Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A proposal is being requested and written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation number N00600-00-Q-3405 is being issued as a request for quotation. The FISC Norfolk Detachment Washington intends to award a Sole Source Firm Fixed Price contract to the Advisory Board Company for the purchase of membership services to support research and educational needs in the continuing changes in the health care arena. The membership services support the entire managed care arena marketing, strategic planning, health care costs, health care delivery, physician competencies, managed care economics and best clinical practices for physicians, along with metrics for clinical and financial dashboards. The membership includes the following programs: CLIN 0001: Healthcare Advisory Board, 1 set, CLIN 0002: Clinical Initiatives Center, 1 set, CLIN 0003: Founders Council, 1 set, and CLIN 0004: Incidental Charges, 1 lot. Period of Performance is 01 October 2000 through 30 September 2001 with 2 one-year option periods. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. FAR Provision 52.212-1, 52.212-4, 52.212-5, 52-217-9, 52.217-8, 52.247-34 and DFAR 252-212.7000, 252.212.7001, 252.243.7002, 252.204.7000, and 52.214-31 apply to this acquisition.
