Description

NASA/JSC plans to issue a Request for Offer(RFO) in support of the development, implementation and administration of Configuration Management for the International Space Station Program Office. The provisions and clauses in the RFO are those in effect through FAC 97-19. The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. See Note 26. This procurement is a 100% Small Business Set-aside with a Small Disadvantaged Business goal of 8%. See Note 1. The SIC Code and Size Standard are 8731 and 1000 employees, respectively. The DPAS rating for this procurement is D0-C9. The anticipated release date of the RFO 9-BG-38-0-54P is on or about October 10, 2000 with offers due November 13, 2000. The period of performance is from April 1, 2001 through December 31, 2003. General requirements for this contract are International Space Station Change Management, Control/Review Board and Panel support activities, Data Management, Change Status Accounting, Auditing, Configuration Management Databases and other Configuration Management tasks. All qualified responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. An ombudsman has been appointed. See NASA Specific Note "B". The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will be in Microsoft Office Suite (Word 6.0, Excel 5.0, or PowerPoint 4.0) format and will reside on a World-Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
