Description
The Defense Supply Service-Washington, on behalf of the Office of the Chief, Army Reserves (OCAR) requires conference facilities to include sleeping rooms, meeting space, banquet hall, breakfast/luncheon space, and administrative space for the period 16 through 20 May 2001 (4 nights/5 days). All facilities should be contained within one edifice, be within a five-mile radius of the Pentagon, and have access to public transportation networks. If the facility is not convenient to public transportation there should be adequate parking for 400 to 500 vehicles. Limited administrative equipment and audiovisual technical support will be required. Food and beverage will be contracted separately. Estimated facility space requirements follows: Sleeping Space -- Day 1, 150 persons; Day 2, 175 persons; Days 3 and 4, 400 persons. Meeting Space -- Day 2, one meeting room for 150 persons seated theater style and six meeting rooms configured with tables for 30 persons with additional seating for 10 persons. Day 3, one executive room configured for 15 persons with additional seating for 5 persons and one meeting room configured with tables for 30 persons with additional seating for 10 persons. Day 4, one executive room configured same as above, one meeting room configured with tables for 30 persons with additional seating for 10 persons, one meeting for 122 persons seated theater style, and one meeting room for 400 persons seated theater style. Day 5, one executive meeting room configured same as above, three meeting rooms for 90 persons each configured theater style, five meetings rooms configured with tables for 30 persons with additional seating for 10 persons. All meeting rooms should will be equipped with sound system and be able to accommodate audiovisual equipment. Banquet Hall -- Day 4, capable of seating 800 persons. Breakfast Space -- Day 3, plated meal for 150 persons. Luncheon Space -- Day 2, room for 175 persons; Day 4, 400 persons. Administrative Space requirements will include storage room, reception area for up to 175 persons, hospitality suite, operations room, and two admin rooms.
