Description

The US Army Acquisition Center, Natick Contracting Division, has a requirement for office renovations in Building 5 Rooms 115 thru 118 located on the US Army installation in Natick Massachusetts. The contractor shall provide all labor,materials,and equipment necessary to perform all work as outlined herein. The contractor must verify that all materials to be bid must be in stock and readily available. Within ten business days after NTP (Notice to Proceed) the Contractor shall submit all material samples/swatches and/or manufacturer specifications,for wall,door/frame, paint, carpet, and cove base,vinyl floor tiles,etc to the Contracting Officer's Representative for selection and approval prior to purchase. The period of performance shall be 48 days after the date of NTP (Notice to Proceed). The contractor shall submit a construction schedule outlining the duration,start and completion dates for all the major disciplines,demolition, and construction phases within two weeks after award. The Shop Builing #5,north wing,east side of corridor, room #'s 115 thru 118 will be vacant during this period of performance. In addition to days, the Contractor shall work nights and weekends as necessary to meet the project deadline. The Natick Contracting Officer's Representative shall be notified a minimum of 24 hours in advance of all work to be performed on nights and weekends so that security can be coordinated. Refer to the Solicition DAAD16-00-T-1173 for complete description of work to be performed. This acquisition is one hundred per cent(100%)set-aside for Small Business. The Standard Industrial Classification for this procurement is 1542 and the Small Business Size is $17.0 The Government anticipates awarding a single Firm Fixed Price Contract.
