Description

This procurement is restricted: all responsible sources may submit a quotation. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commerical items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additionalinformation included in the notice. This annoucement consititutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a separate writtien solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N00205-00-Q-G087 applies and is issued as a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-37 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-10. The Standard Industrial Code is 3444 and the business sizes standard is 500 employees. This requirement is for fixed priced contract for the following: Line Itwm 0001; Quantity 0009 each, Item description: Butting kit assembly -- length 77.880"; width 49,880"; height 16.000"; item includes the following, two frame assemblies 1339AS472-1, one bellows assembly 1339AS473-1, four strips 1339AS476-1, four strips 1339AS477-1, four gaskets 1339AS4S 1339AS479-1, forty four clthirty two rivets 1339AS336-14 tape, black 1339AS115-1, sealer 1339AS208-1 -- P/N 1339AS471-1. Delivery of all items is requested 120 days after award of contract to be delivered fob destination to: Receiving Officer Bldg 31, 400 Russell Ave, Naval Air Station JRB, New Orleans La 70143. Acceptance shall be made at destination. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commerical itmes applies. Addendum to FAR 52.212-1: Paragraph (h), mulitiple awards-delete entire paragraph and subsittute "Award. the governemnt intends to award a single contract resulting from this solicitation." Quotors are required to complete and include a copy of the following provisions with their proposales: FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications-Commerical Items. Also DFAR 252-225-7000, Buy American Act and Balance of Payments Progrom Certificate. Clauses 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commerical Items, applies. Addendum to FAR 52.212-4; Paragraph (o) Warranty -- Add: "Additionally, the Government will accept the Contractor's Commerical Warranty." The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions required to implement statutes or executive orders -- Commerical Items Appleis with the following applicable clauses for paragraph (b): FAR 52.222-26 Equal Opportunity: far FAR 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for Special Disabled and Vietnam ERA Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam era. DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commerical Items, applies with the following clauses applicable for paragraph (b): and DFARS 252-225-7001, Buy American Act and Balance of Payment Program. The Government intens ot make a single award to the responsible contractor's whose quotation is most advantageous to the Government considering price and price-related factor. This solcitations will be evaluated on the following factors: -- All respinsible sources may submit a quotation which if received in a timely manner, shall be considered by the agency. -- Award to be made to the offers that meets the solicitation's mandatory requiemwnts at the lowest price. Quotations must be received no later than 3:00PM, Central Time, 9/30/00.
