Description

This is a Commercial Item Acquisition conducted in accordance = with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12. The National Cemetery Administration is soliciting quotations from Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Program small business concerns for a prefabricated modular office structure, approximately 4,200 square feet, to be installed at 5101 Russell Road, Quantico, VA. The resulting contract includes site preparation and related work. All work under the contract shall be completed within 90 calendar days of contractor=92s receipt of award documents. Hard copies of Request for Quotation (RFQ) No. 786-91-00 which includes plans and specifications will be issued on or about September 29, 2000, to those firms having remitted a solicitation materials fee in the amount of Twenty Dollars ($20.00) (non-refundable). Remittances should be made payable to = =93U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs=94 and sent to the issuing office to the attention of Mr. Joseph C. Kepple, Contracting Officer, and reference Solicitation No. RFQ 786-91-00. DO NOT SEND CASH. Telephone requests will not be accepted. RFQ No. 786-91-00 will also be distributed FREE OF CHARGE via the VA Business Opportunities System on or about September 29, 2000, at the following URL address:=20 http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov/solicitation?number=3D786-91-00. Any amendments to the solicitation will also be available at the URL address. Offerors are responsible for obtaining amendments. Firms submitting quotations must include written evidence of their U.S. Small Business Certification as a HUBZone Small Business Concern before the closing date of the solicitation. The Government will not consider quotations that do not include evidence of certification as a HUBZone Small Business Concern. See Commerce Business Daily Numbered Note 27.
