Description

This a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation. This request for quotation is conditional upon the receipt of year-end funds. NO FUNDS ARE CURRENTLY AVAILABLE FOR THIS SOLICITATION. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business and is under Standard Industrial Code (SIC) code 3663, with a small business size standard of 750. Items must meet or exceed all functions and specifications of the Motorola item. All part numbers (P/N)are Motorola. Statement of Requirement: 2 Each Transciever, P/N 01-P36744M001, 2 Each Shocktray P/N 01-P35866M001, 2 Each Antenna P/N 85-P35990M001, 2 Each Speaker P/N 01-P39310N001, 2 Each Power Supply P/N 01-P35860M0001, 2 Each Remote Control Unit P/N 01-P36009M009, 2 Each Cable P/N 30-P35581J001-045-04, 2 Each Microphone P/N 50-P39208N001. If quoting an or equal, must provide manufacturer and part number and other requirements prescribed in FAR clause 52.211-6. Quotes may be faxed to (501) 987-8119, ATTN MSgt Lisa Smith, or sent to 314 CONS/LGCA, 642 Thomas Ave, Little Rock AFB, AR 72099, at or before 12:00 pm, 29 Sept 2000. Offers will be evaluated on technical merit as well as best value to the government. Contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and registration must be current prior to receiving any award (http://www.ccr2000.com). Successful offeror shall also be required to submit a completed copy of the provisions at FAR clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification-Commercial Items (Feb 2000) prior to award.
