Description

THIS IS A 100% SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS ONLY. THE SIC CODE IS 5912 WITH A SIZE STANDARD OF $5.0 MILLION. The VA Medical Center, West Palm Beach, Florida intends to award an indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity contract for pharmaceutical support services. Contract shall be for a base year with two(2)one(1)year renewal options. The Contractor shall provide pharmaceutical services in the Boca Raton, Florida area to beneficiaries, as prescribed by the Health Care Providers at the Boca Raton VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic. Estimated 3000 beneficiaries during the base year with a cap of 12,000 beneficiaries for the life of the contract. Contractor shall be required to fill all narcotic prescriptions, as well as medications listed on the VA National Formulary but not stocked by the Clinic. Pharmaceutical services include filling of prescription service and patient education concerning their medication. The VA intends to award a single contract but reserves the right to make multiple awards if in the Govenrment's best interest. The issue date will be on or about 10/6/00.
