Description

The Naval Hospital, Charleston, SC intends to procure on a sole source basis from Cytyc Corporation, Borough, MA for Thin Prep Pap Test Lab Kit. Performance to begin 01 October 2000 -- 30 September 2001. This is not a formal solicitation. This synopsis is not considered a request for proposals or quotations. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This procurement is subject to the availability of Fiscal Year 2001 funding.
