Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ0024). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circulars #18. The government will award a fixed price purchase order to the responsible Contractor, price and other factors considered: (a) Delivery time (b) Capabilities of Microscope, (c) Price: All evaluation factors other that price, when combined are significantly less important than the price. The clause 52.213-3, Representations and Certifications- Commercial items must be completed before award. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52-212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition.
