17. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is 4TPF57008054 and is issued as a request for proposal. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 06. This requirement is not being set-aside. 1 ea HD-2000 Degausser which meets DOD5200.28-m requirements for purging classified information from hard disk media including one-third, one-half, and full-height hard drives without removing the disk platters. Also approved to purge classified information from magnetic tapes up to 750 Oersteds (nominal). Must also meet Air Force Regulation AFSSI-5020. Must perform the following: -90dB using over-saturated, long wave-length signals on tape with coecivities rated up to 750 Oersted (nominal) when equipped with factory authorized adapters. Must accept full-height hard disks and reels and cassettes up to 10.5" in diameter. The cycle time shall be 73 seconds at 60 Hz. The power requirements are 208/240, 60 Hz, 30 Amps. 1 ea Adapter for Universal hard drives (p/n 940-1100). 1 ea Adapter for multi-purpose medium form (1-2_ (DC300, DC600, TK50, TK85, DLT, 3480, VHS, MII (sm/lg), Betacam SP, 5 1/4" floppy. Delivery is to be FOB Destination and is due 15 days ARO. Delivery will be made to AAC/WMBC, Bldg 11, 102 W. D Ave, Ste 400 (Automation Div.), Eglin AFB, FL 32542-6867. Acceptance will be made at delivery point.
