- 70 USDA, OFM, National Finance Center (NFC) located in New Orleans, LA intends to issue a contract to Pilot Software for maintenance renewal services for the following software products: Command Center Plus, Command Center Advantage/G, and Command Center Dimension/G. The period of performance is October 1, 2000 through September 30, 2001 with the option to renew services for an additional four (4) years. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The provision at FAR 52.212.1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial applies to this acquisition and FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items shall be submitted with the offer. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items and any additional FAR and Agriculture clauses cited applies to this acquisition. Copies of the aforementioned documents can be obtained from http://www.arnet.gov/far responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Interested parties may provide information on their capabilities to maintain this software. In order to be considered, respondents must submit clear and convincing documentation of their capability within the time specified. The documentation must include descriptive literature with sufficient technical information to satisfy this need. The only known source for maintenance of this software is Pilot. Responses are due to be received in the Contracting Office or about September 29, 2000 at 3:00 p.m., local time. If no affirmative written responses are received within the time indicated, a contract will be awarded to Pilot Software without further notice.
