- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/Request for Quotation (RFQ) for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Far Subpart 12.6, as supplemented, with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only quotation. Quotes are being requested and a written quotation will not be issued. This acquisition is a 100% set-aside for small businesses and the applicable Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 5023. The magnitude of this project is between $25K-$100K. This requirement is a carpet purchase only for 1335 square yards. The color is 283 Abalone, the style is Festival (style 2830), and the manufacturer is J & J Industries. The quotations should reflect destination pricing to Pope AFB, NC. There are several provisions and clauses that apply to this acquisition. The first provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, is applicable to this acquisition. There is an addendum to paragraph (h) in this provision. We will not be making multiple awards, just a single award. Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, is hereby incorporated with the following evaluation factors to be included in paragraph (a) technical capability of offered items to meet agency requirement, price, and past performance. Offerors must include with their offer a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certification-Commercial Items. The next clause is 52.212-4, Contract terms and Conditions-Commercial Items. Clause 52.212-5,Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, shall also be incorporated into the contract. FAR 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer-Central Contractor Registration: DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration; DFARS 252.212-7000 and the following subclauses under DFARS 252.225-7001, 252.225-7036, and 252.227.7015. The carpet must be delivered not later than 15 October 2000. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which, if received in a timely manner, will be considered by this agency. All quotes are due into 43D Contracting Squadron office by closed of business, 4:15 PM, 25 September 2000.
