SIC Code 3499, High Impact Crash Beam This is a combined synopsis/ solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Funds are currently not available for this procurement. However, you are requested to provide your best price for the listed item(s). Should funds become available, you will be notified of contract award. Request reply not later than COB: 25 Sep 00. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation F04666-00-Q0041 is issued as a Request for Quote using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Noun: Four Post High Impact Crash Beam, SIC 3499. Model: SEMA-4 Quantity: 3 each Description: Four Post High Impact Crash Beam, hinged 4 inch tubular steel with internal cable reinforced crash beam (arm). Arm rotates and is secured by a set of high impact end posts. Can be secured in either open or closed position. Capable of stopping a 10,000 pound vehicle at 30 MPH, equipped with a manual hydraulic hand pump for barrier arm operation. Single push button control system for automatic operation.
