Description

1. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the intentions of Headquarters, US Army Intelligence and Security Command to enter into an award with Research electronics International., on a sole source basis and is the only solicitation; proposals are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Alternate items will not be considered. This NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. The Purchase Request Number W23BFK-0243-7003 is provided for identification purposes only. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotations. All quotations received within 3 days of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government; however, a determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. The associated standard industrial classification (North American Classification System) code is 3825 with the associated size standard of 500 people. The solicitation consists of the following: CLIN 0001, OSC-5000 Omni Spectral Correlator, 1 each; CLIN 0002, ODP 5000 Delux Package, 1 each; CLIN 0003, OPC 5000 PC Interface, 12 each; CLIN 0004, NGA 5000 Noise Generator, 1 Each; CLIN 0005, OIF 5000 IF Output (10.7 MHz), 1 each; CLIN 0006, VBA 2400 Video Booster Antenna, 1 each; CLIN 0007, MDC 2400 Microwave Down Converter, 1 each; CLIN 0008, OMD 5000 ASVD Modem Package, 1 each; CLIN 0009, NJE 4000 Non Linear Junction Evaluator with headphones, batteries, charger and case. Delivery is to be made NLT 30 Nov 2000, acceptance at Fort Meade, MD, FOB Destination.
